CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in illustration began with a love for color, seasonal themes, and visual storytelling. Over the years, my expertise has developed through creating vibrant, playful illustrations inspired by Nordic nature, cozy moments, and changing seasons. As an illustrator specializing in colorful, slightly whimsical artwork, I nurture this focus by exploring mood, texture, characters, real-life experiences, and seasonal traditions. What I love most about illustration is its ability to add warmth and personality to everyday products. To create a successful illustration, I believe it’s important to consider both mood and how the artwork lives across different formats. I maintain my skillset through ongoing personal projects, seasonal artwork, and client-based design work.

What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
My favorite occasions to illustrate are the cozy, seasonal moments, especially Christmas, autumn, and Valentine’s Day.
Which card do you still keep on your desk?
I keep a handwritten calligraphy card from a close friend on my desk. It’s a nice reminder of how meaningful a card can be when time and care are put into it.
What is the most unique card you ever created?
One of my most unique cards must be a Christmas card I made inspired by Røros, one of Norway’s most beautiful winter towns.
