CREATIVE STATEMENT
My love for illustrated maps began during Covid when it was difficult to travel. Creating maps was a way to escape and explore new places. I am constantly seeking out new destinations to draw inspiration from, which has helped me develop my skills in this field over the years. What I love most about map illustration is its ability to tell a story and transport the viewer to a different place. In order to create a successful map, I believe it's important to find a balance between accuracy and creativity to design a map that it’s fun to navigate but that still serves its main purpose.

What is your most memorable vacation spot?
I visited France’s Mediterranean coast a few years ago and I fell in love with it!

I’m fascinated by planes and I love train journeys!
Which do you prefer: mountains, desert, beach, or forest?
I can’t consider it a real vacation if there’s no beach in a 5-mile radius!
