CREATIVE STATEMENT
I discovered my passion for cooking only recently. For me, preparing a nourishing, delicious meal has become a way to take care of myself and unwind after a long day. This shift has naturally found its way into my illustration practice. I’ve developed a real love for illustrating food. As an illustrator specialising in food and drink illustrations, I nurture this focus through personal projects, whether it’s an illustrated recipe or a vibrant food arrangement. I love illustrating food as I find it to be a universal language, one that taps into the sweetest memories we all carry. To me, a successful food illustration is colourful, inviting, and instantly eye-catching. It should stir something in the viewer, maybe the urge to cook, or simply the joy of imagining that first bite.

What fruit or vegetable do you most love to illustrate?
Oranges, lemons, and all citrus fruits. I love capturing the tiny reflections and translucent details in each slice.
What is your comfort food?
Pizza, hands down!
What is your favorite beverage?
I love my cappuccino in the morning and, admittedly,
often have one after lunch too. (Don’t tell the Italians! lol)
