I love drawing maps because they’re equal parts promise and permission. As someone who travels often, I’m drawn to how maps invite curiosity, encourage detours, and quietly reassure you that you’re probably going the right way. What is your most memorable vacation spot?
The British post office at Port Lockroy in Antarctica. It’s the southernmost post office in the world, and when we went there the penguins were nesting all around us.
What is your favorite mode of transportation?
Can I say private jet? Naw... I must say that I love me an Uber, so I don’t need to drive. Oooh! No, the tuk tuk in Sri Lanka where I almost fell out!
