CREATIVE STATEMENT
Animals are a huge inspiration for me! I love capturing their personalities through facial expressions and body language, immersing myself in the imaginary worlds I envision they live in. For the past twenty-five years, I have worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, creating art for various industries and products, honing my skills and expertise. From creating cuddly characters for a line of plush pillows, marine life characters for shampoo bottles, to designing woodland animal patterns for textiles and home decor, my work involves bringing critters and their environments to life using color, texture, and expressive line work.

What animal do you most relate to?
Birds. I’m an early riser. Nothing is better than waking up to their chirping!
What animal is the most fun to draw?
Squirrels. Have you ever just sat and watched them? Their movements are so expressive and funny!
Which do you prefer; cats or dogs?
Dogs. We have a black lab named Sunny and a Boston terrier named Junie (not to exclude a leapoard ghecko named Charlotte and a hamster named Beans).
